SAS-2000 was developed for the safe switching of two antennas between two radios during the third World Radiosport Team Championship in Bled, Slovenia from July 5th to 11th 2000.   It has two pieces of RG-58 coaxial cable 1 m long with PL-259 for the direct connection to the radios antenna sockets. Left cable is marked RX, right one is TX, according to the WRTC rules.  Two SO-239 sockets are intended for the outside antennas.  Left socket should be used for Wire (Windom) antenna fed with RG-58 cable. Right socket is for Yagi (Beam) antenna with RG-213 thick feedline.  There is a safety ground connection in the middle of the rear end of SAS-2000.  Heavy duty toggle switch with a long red paddle selects the proper antenna for TX while the other one goes to RX.  In the left position, TX is connected to Yagi. Bothantennas are safely dis-connected from radios in the middle OFF position. Eventual static electricity is bleed to the ground via     10 kOhm internal resistors.  SAS-2000 is made from the high quality USA components.  Extreme care must be taken NOT to strech two RG-58 cables beyond 2 m of total distance between radios.
