AFA-75 was taken down at Jan 16, 1999

I had a strong typhoon in 1997 fall and my rotator(CD RC5B-3) was broken. This caused the antenna mast free so all the coax for AFA75(2ele phased yagi for 75m) and 214C(4ele duo bander for 14/21MHz) were cut by the strong wind. I decided to take down the AFA75. Here is the some shots of the work.

AFA-75 was pulled up by hand winch. Then it was guided by one person and down to half hight of the 27.5m self standing tower.
The elements and boom were disassembled at the point.

The top antenna is a CD-214C (4ele duo bander for 14/21MHz). Two guys, who are JH1EAQ Wata and JH1JLR Kazu, worked on top of the tower. Tack JE1CKA is guiding AFA75 to the right place
