**LOG FORMAT
==================
  The aplication dependent BINARY format like *.DBF,*.XLS or *.DOC etc 
  are NOT ACCEPTED. 
  The CABRILLO FORMAT are strongly recommended. 
  If you submitt in Cabrillo format, you do not need to check the Multiplier, 
  Dupes nor Points at all. Our check program will calculate each score in 
  even condition.
  The Cabrillo format (see 
http://www.kkn.net/~trey/cabrillo/ ).

The log & summary sheet must meet the following guide lines;
  1. ASCII(=Plain Text) format only.
  2. The summary and log list must be in one file. 
     DO NOT SEPARATE log and summary or each band logs!
  3. The following log data is required:
     Date(YYYY-MM-DD), Time in UTC, Band, Mode, Callsign, his RST, My RST, 
     Number sent, Number recieved, New multi & Point.
     For Multi op stations, Run/Multi station designator.
     They must be separated by SPACE or TAB
  4. Each QSO data must be terminated with CR/LF(=1 QSO data in 1 Line only) 
     and FIXED column. 
  5. No compressed(ZIP,gz) file is recommended.
  6. The file name will be consisted by your callsign and entry class. 
     ie JE1CKAAB.LOG, KH0AM28L.LOG

1. DISK submittion;
==================
  3.5" 2HD(1.44MB only) with MS-DOS formatted floppy disks are only accepted. 
No other type of disk will be accepted. Please stick the label on the disk 
with your Callsign, contest name with year and entry class.

2. Email submittion;
==================
** DO NOT send the email in "HTML" format. Many M$-Outlook Express, Netscape Mail 
users sent their logs in "html" format. HTML email log will not be processed 
properly, so we do not guarantee your score.
So please set "html" option of your mailer OFF!

  2-1.Compression
    No compression is recommended. Please send your summary+log in PLAIN TEXT
(ASCII) format. However you can use ZIP, TAR+GZIP or LHA if the file is too 
large to send by email. No other compression is accepted. 

  2-2. How to send
  Please send your log/summary as "attatchment" with the BASE64 or QuotedPrintable
(mime) encoding.
No BINHEX encoding will not be accepted.

  2-3. Subject: line
  Please indicate "JIDX", USED CALLSIGN and CATEGORY in the mail Subject: line.
There have been large amount of SPAM emails recently to the log-input addresses.
All emails without "JIDX" in the Subject header will be thougt of SPAM and will 
be rejected automatically.

  2-4.Where to send
  Please send your email log to the following email addresses for each JIDX 
contests. 
    Phone

  If the email is arrived at above addresses, auto "Receiption Notice" will be sent 
  back to the sender in a minute. 

  2-5. Receiption Notice
  You'll receive the automated "Receiption Notice" from JIDX Contest Committee, 
  if you send your log to the each of above address in proper format descrived above. 
  Please keep the "Receiption Notice" until the result will be published.

  2-6. DECLARATION
    No more declaration is requested in Email-Log.
  All the stations who sent their log by email will be considered to declare 
  the folloing declaration.

  "I have observed all competition rules as well as all regulations for Amateur
  Radio in my country. My report is correct and true to the best of my knowledge.
  I agree to be bound by the decisions of the JIDX Contest Committee."

3. Problem?

  If you can not receive the "Receiption Notice" or the log is too large to send 
in one email, would you consult to the JIDX contest committee chairman before 
sending?

  * The recommended cabrillo format is fixed column position, however our check 
  program does not care the exact column position but just field(cell) position.

Other Log Format

If you can not find the way to convert your log into Cabrillo format,
we will do the job. Any ASCII file output from CT/TRLOG/NA/WriteLog/ZLOG 
etc logging software will be accepted by the committee. 
BUT PLEASE USE THE CABRILLO SUMMARY Format described as above.
DO not forget to indicate your sent number(=CQ-Zone) in Summary.

What is running on "jidx-info%jidx.org"
  If you wish to get any JIDX contest related informations like past results, 
all time record or current rule, you simply send an email with any COMMANDS 
to the INFO-SERVER. A program extract your COMMANDS from the mail body then 
execute it (or them) in a few seconds. You'll receive any informations in a 
few minutes(ordinally) from the robot.

All JIDX(Japan International DX) contest related file requests concerning 
this info-server are handled by an automated server.
