Very interesting! Good propagation on 21mc in 1-st day, and bad in 2-nd day. VK2APK: This was my 441st contest. I used the K1EA program. No dupe contacts were made. The conditions were extremely poor at the start of the contest. There was plenty of deliberate QRM and I also received a lot of calls from non Japanese stations, despite that I called often "CQ JAPAN". Many amateurs just have not learnt to listen. VK2XT : No publicity in Australian radio magazine about contest. VR97BG: Hope there were other VR2s QRV to hand out the multiplier on the other bands. W6KP : Please send certificate for working 47 prefectures on 15 meters! W7OM : Working JA stations on 40 meters was very difficult. Many JA stations were well above S9 but did NOT listen for US stations above 7150. I missed many JA friends and multipliers. Operating time was less than 11 hours. I do QSL 100% all cards. WB6NFO: Very good contest this year! 10 meters was a disappointment with no openings here. 10 meters had been open just before he contest but no luck during contest! 40 meters was fine but could not get any Japan stations to listen in USA band! The Ve's and XE's were doing fine,HI. Would be nice if JA's would listen "up" in USA band. 20 meters was fine but not many JA's on band. I worked all I could hear but just not many statins on 20! XE3LMV: Tnx for nice contest. I will like to try every year your contest. But I miss rules. Pse send me this rules information. CU next year.
